Emergency Physical Services
Emergency Physical Examination
The initial examination by our veterinarian will allow us to assess the best treatment plan and prognosis for your pet.
We offer a clean, comfortable facility for your pet. The doctor on duty supervises treatments and monitors your pet’s progress.
To offer you the most optimal care, our hospital is equipped to perform advanced on site diagnostic laboratory testing. We can achieve immediate results in hematology, chemistry and radiology.
A wide range of surgical procedures can also be performed at our hospital. Repair of lacerations, removal of a foreign body (swallowed toys, bones, etc.) and caesarean sections are among those frequently performed.
An examination fee will be charged for an exam performed by the doctor. Upon examination an estimate of diagnostic charges and medical treatment will be provided after the initial examination. A deposit of 75% of the estimate is required for all hospitalized patients. All fees are due in full when the patient is released. We accept Checks, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and CareCredit.
Pets leaving the hospital will either be taken home or transferred to your primary care veterinarian for continued care. In both situations, a copy of your medical record is sent to your veterinarian to be included in your pet’s permanent record. We stress that proper follow-up care is of great importance to a successful outcome in all cases.
Patients must be picked up by 7:30 am.
