Dr. Joe Owens III, DVM


Dr. Joe Owens is originally from Marlboro, Massachusetts but was raised in Durham, North Carolina. At age 10 he developed a strong interest in animal health care while he worked closely with his mother and mentor, Sharon Owens, DVM. Dr. Joe Owens attended Tuskegee University where he earned the prestigious position of Mr. Tuskegee University and served as an influential liaison between the college campus and its neighboring communities. He later graduated with Honors with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2008. Dr. Owens continued his studies at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2012. His professional interests include soft tissue surgeries, internal medicine and emergency and critical care. During his free time, Dr. Owens enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with his Aussie/Shepard Mix, Que.

Dr. Johnathan Snead, DVM


Dr. Johnathan Snead is a Tuskegee University of Veterinary Medicine graduate who has a passion for surgery and exotic pets. He always strives to offer the highest quality of medicine and give personalized attention to each and every client he sees. He loves his patients and truely is the Apitomy of our belief, “Investing in the Health, Happiness and Healing of Lives.” On his days off Dr. Snead enjoys hiking , camping and working on cars. He often see him with Rosie our hospital dog!

Dr. Brandon Dever, DVM


Dr. Brandon Dever is a graduate of the prestigious Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where he developed a love for animals and their welfare. His passions are emergencies, critical care, surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Dever lives with his wife Marilyn and their Jack Russell Terrier, Ghost. In his free time, Dr. Dever enjoys video games, traveling, watching sports and exploring.

Shannon has dedicated her life to the care of companion animals. Since the young age of 14, Shannon has been in the animal care industry in Las Vegas and California. At the age of 18, she was the proud owner of two successful veterinary practices in the Las Vegas valley, focusing on high quality of care and always offering the best medicine. As a non-DVM owner, Shannon has had the privilege of working with many Valley Veterinarians and training them as well as technicians in standards of care, anesthesia protocol and much more. Her knowledge and experience after 15 years in veterinary medicine has made her have compassion for owners with her fully understanding the emotional connection between owners and their pets. Shannon has made it her mission to invest in the health, happiness and healing of lives from the inside out. Her faith in Jesus and her love for her family encapsulate who she is. Her belief system at the core is evident in her practices and how she gets so close to clients and her staff. Shannon has a history in pet training and takes time rescuing unwanted pets and rehabilitating them into society so they can have forever homes. Her husband Paul, her son Isaiah and her three corgis Chupacabra, Nubbin and Puppy make up her happy home.

Markie has worked in the veterinary field since she was 14; starting in kennel and working her way up to practice manager. She has four small children as well as four crazy dogs; Cash, Penny, Bacon and Ruger. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts and traveling with her family.

Shelby is a licensed veterinary technician who has worked in the field for over 5 years. She loves working with all types of animals including exotics. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, binge watching Netflix and spending time with her family. Her fur babies include two kitties named Marley and Harold.

Meagan is a veterinary technician student, due to graduate this Spring. She enjoys all aspects of vet med but especially enjoys surgery and she plans to go on to specialize in it. She spends her free time with her family and attending Vegas Golden Knights games.

Luis is a veterinary assistant and has been in the field for 2 years. He enjoys working with all kinds of animals. He loves to listen to music, drawing, photography, spending time with family or friends and going on adventures. He is currently attending school at CSN to become a licensed veterinary technician.

Tiffany has spent roughly 3 decades in the animal care field; 5 of those years have been in veterinary care. She enjoys working with animals of all sizes, shapes, vertebral structuring and thermal makeup. Outside of work she enjoys traveling and exploring with Panzer, her four legged companion. She also loves reading and music, especially concerts!

Treneka, Marketing Representative for the Las Vegas Animal Emergency Hospital, Treneka has lived in the Las Vegas Valley for over 30 years; and has been a part of the Veterinary industry for over 20 years. She is passionate about customer service a self-proclaimed Go- Getter. Treneka loves volunteering in the community in her spare time and spending quality time with her family and friends.
